I am buying a 100 lb tank for my fireplace. Do I need a single regulator or a double (dual) regulator to attach to the tank? Then the builder will have his guy come out and turn it on for the first time.

When I cancelled my contract with the gas company I got a 40 lb tank and used a dual regulator and all is well,,,,,,,,,, but I am not sure what size regulator to use for a 100 lb tank for the fireplace.

I'm no expert but when I bought my 100LB tank, I went to Lowes and bought the regulator that said "For 100LB tanks" - Literally. I dont know if its double or single, but it has two "bumps" on it. It's worked fine for a year.
