I don't feel sorry for him. He's a 40 year old married man in a position of authority and knew better.
I don't think anyone was "defending" what he allegedly did. More saying number 1, leave his family out of it and 2, there are two sides to every story and the truth is somewhere in the middle. And 3, obviously he should have known better. Sad a man's family has to be drug through the mud because he can't control his impulses.
