While it's southern style food, it ain't home cooking and just honestly not really appealing to me. Rather have Shiny Diner as it atleast tastes a little closer to home cooking.

 

McCalls isn't as good as it used to be and it never was anything special.

 

I went there once (before it became a fly-thru) and thought it was nasty.

I agree with McCalls but I'll also add that I thought the buffet overpriced.

Has anyone been to Holt Lake since it reopened?

SO true. I've eaten there twice. Once before the crash and once after. It was gross both times and I won't go back, period. I don't know what anyone sees in their food. :ack: Different strokes I guess.
