    From the JCS website

Due to the weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service, Johnston County Schools is dismissing at 10:00 am today (Monday, January 10)

It's on WRAL as well, not sure how they're going to dismiss all schools at 10 am though

So they can get credit for the whole day, and the High Schools (at least my son's) are having final exams today.

I think the HS has their own busses.

With elem and middle school - alot of parents might opt to pick up and they can bus together, who knows? <- I just made that part up.

LOL, I believe West and Cleveland Middle and West View all use the same busses, just dropped of my high schooler, and my two elem schoolers get to go for an hour, LOL

:) youre funny Cleo. My kids are all jumping around now cause it came over the news14 show. I'm guessing that tomorrow is going to be closed after the first few minutes of either snow or ice! :)

That's what I thought, my son goes to Corinth Holders and told me they had their own busses. Never listen to a 16YO.

I can't remember how they did it last time... same staggered schedule - but "class" was dismissed, and kids hung out and played/did activities while waiting for the busses, which by the time they came to the elem school not alot of kids left?

Along this line of thought...my DH's workplace has an emergency snow plan...uh, hello?! now might be a good time to implement it. But silly me, it's all about the stockholders isn't it? None of the corporate bigwigs care if they lose a number er I mean employee on the way to/from work. I mean most of the big decision makers don't even live here, and the weather is fine right now wherever they are. :banghead:
