5-10 min to either one...

    Triangle generally has two types:

    Georgia gold
    NC long needle

    mulch

pinestraw... full of spider and insect nest and a fire hazard - doesn't retain water/moisture. Why not try triple shredded mulch? Nature's snuggie blanket... will retain moisture and help protect your plants root balls and look great at the same time!

I cant remember the guys name, but he delivers any amount of straw for a rate of 5.00 delivery fee. We found his listing in the 40/42 classifieds this past Spring. I believe his bales were 4.00 each but they were large bales and was very clean, no branches and junk in it. Here is his number, the straw comes from Sampson and Duplin Counties. 919-868-9761

Note to self: call this week, need some more straw...

Lowes also sells pinestraw if you just need a bale or two, it might be your best bet

Depending where you are putting it, mulch washes out faster.

Oh I have no idea, they are on Raleigh Road (between Sanders & Sonny)though if that helps. They will be on the right side of the road just after the bridge if you are coming from Cleveland Rd.

What's the price range right now on long-leaf pinestraw delivered? We usually get around 20 bales. Have being getting short-needle for 3.50 a bale, plus $5 delivery fee for a few years from Parkers Pinestraw, but I really prefer the long needle.

Not exactly 40/42 area but we get our mulch, pine straw, gravel from Red Barn on HWY 70 as you are heading East out of Clayton.
