I haven't had an appraisal done. Do I have to hire someone to do it? I just sent in recent comps a realtor emailed me.
At this point, I am not sure because I believe you only had a certain time frame to send in an informal review request. We had just purchased our home (it was new) Aug 2010 so I sent in comps & appraisal.
I have to do a formal appeal now, I'm really not sure what I should be doing or bringing with me. Has anyone ever done this before?
