Okay, did a thread search but couldn't find any. Does anyone have experience w/ vein specialists? I went to the doc the other day & they were convinced it was electrolyte imbalance. Ran the bloodwork but all is normal. However, leg cramps, legs tired, etc. still there. I do have variclose veins & spider veins. They're hereditary & my mom has had them treated...a lot. Has anyone on here gone to vein specialist? Do they check to make sure it's not a circulation issue? Any input would be great. Regular doc said to come back for a re-eval. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what type of vein specialist you wanted, but they usually hang out in the seedier areas of major metropolitan areas.

Vein Clinics of America in Raleigh. Dr. Tran

They were great to deal with. I had one on the back of my leg which was also hereditary, thanks Mom!!

I had it removed in 2008 i believe it was. I go for checkups every 6 months to a year just to get any injections for any minor branches left behind from the main vein. It is all ultra-sound guided and outpatient. For me it was almost completely painless. Worst part was wearing the compression stocking for 5 days.
