You HAVE to have something coconut on Easter! Whether its pie or cake as long as its coconut. To go with the ham, deviled eggs & snap beans! :)

Why would you leave the crust of a coconut pie?

Why would you leave it off any pie? :ack:

Basically you have a pile of pudding!

Strawberry pie with a dollop of vanilla ice cream = first choice. From the three...hard to say...between potato or chocolate, but chocolate rules! What should I care? I won't be gettin' any. :jester:

OoooooO! Lately I've been having a love affair with Nutella! I even got a little jungle fever the other night and had some with peanut butter. lol

I like the Nutella, too. It's one of those simple pleasures that I just have to have during the week. I just like to do a thin spread on a piece of bread. That said, however, I've never heard of it used in a whipped pie. Sounds good and I'd bet mixed with PB in a pie would be awesome, too.

Thanks Jester,it's fairly easy to make-make a short crust, put in a cakepan, cook two packages of vanilla pudding, let it cool while stirring occasionaly, stir in 1 1/2 lg. tubs of sour cream, pour on top of crust, layer with frozen raspberries, bake at 350F for about 1 hour, then make a glaze from either water or juice by thickening it with cornstarch and pour it on top of baked cake, let cool overnight in fridge.

Oh my! Annette, do you sell those? If so, I'm buying...seriously. That looks wonderful. I usually buy a cake or pie or cheesecake at the little farmer's market on 42 east by Percy Flowers. Their 13 layer chocolate cake is the best! As for pie, I like pumpkin!

That would be tough,I'd have to bake at least 2 so I'd still have one left for myself
If you ever want to seriously ;) buy one in the future let me know :)
