I know what you mean! I have a hard time watching DS ride his motorcycle, but I would never tell him he can't. You can't project your fears on them, hard as it is.

Unfortunately his season has already been deemed over, he's seeing some eye specialists today and I assume someone regarding the broken bones. He says he can see some if he pries his eye open, LOL. So hopefully it looks lots worse than it is. He's got one massive shiner. The guy from HS had to have reconstructive surery on the eye socket, I hope DN is not that bad.

That stinks (family friendly version ). I hope he's okay, and that there's no eye damage.

I knew a guy that this happened to (an adult) and it took a while to heal, but he had no damage to his eye or vision, thank God. Hopefully your nephew's eye will be ok. I'm sorry his season ended abruptly and he has deal with his swollen eye.

DH just talked to his momma and it's mostly good news. The breaks are not "through and through" so surgery probably won't be necessary.:hurray: However there are some minor bleeds in the retina that he will have to go and have checked again tomorrow to make sure they stop. I will keep praying that the news continues to be good! Thank you everyone for the good thoughts and prayers, they certainly can't hurt. :grouphug:

I remember a classmate from 8th grade that had the same thing happen to him. He looked ROUGH for a while, but it healed nicely and with no permanent effects! Praying for the same for your nephew!!

My husband gave me a coupon that was in the mail for some Oil of Olay anti-aging moisturizer. I asked him if he's trying to tell me something.

When is it too early to start drinking and does it matter what you are drinking?

Sat won't do me any good at all. I get to spend the next two weekends in class. 20 days straight without a day off, I can't wait. :?

I watched it all, starting at 4am. I loved it! It was beautiful. I know Diana was watching too and so very proud and happy.
