Beat me to it! From Politico LATE ANNOUNCEMENT: President Obama will make a statement Sunday night, the White House announced. News outlets have reported that Osama bin Laden has been killed. The White House has confirmed to POLITICO that Obama will talk about national security.
Yes, this is just great news...now we get to deal with the fallout of his loyal followers as they carry out his wishes. If the US was so close to him, why didn't they just capture him instead? I don't believe anyone will be prepared for what will happen next!
I believe that there will be fallout from his death, but I think in the long run more Americans would have died if he was taken alive. I Like the burial at sea so that his grave could not be used to further their purposes.
I think America did the right thing. We certainly couldn't have just let him continue to terrorize countries because we were scared of what his followers would do if we caught him. I am so proud of our military for this victory! And to the comment about Donald Trump....he's not going to want to see the body, he's going to want to the see the death certificate.....the long version
