May the Lord bless you both with strength and understanding. Life, perhaps, should be viewed like a marathon or any other long, laborous goal. When we start, we view what lies ahead with fresh eyes and eagerness. However, it is at the finish that we reflect upon the accomplishments that got us there. Make sure she realizes that she made a difference. I'm sure this will give her comfort and just might help you, too.

 

Thankfully, every day starts anew. I guess its mostly up to us how much baggage we take of yesterday with us into tomorrow.

So sorry. I'll pray for you both. I lost my Mom to Cancer so I know what you are going through. My Mom was only 58 when she passed. I just hope she isn't in any pain.
