Cleveland Oaks?

I was checking out the Food Lion website to make my grocery list.... and look at the store map. Specifically store N....

Ya know what, that just looks like the name of a nearby neighborhood, other neighborhoods are on the map as well.

Whew. I thought for minute bing renamed the area.

 

I'm glad I read this, You are smart to check out the website to make your grocery list. I've never done that. Of course, I hardly ever make a list, and it gets me into trouble. My husband swears he could make our grocery money last a longer than I can. I would let him but I'm afraid he'd come home with many cans of tuna, Chef Boyardee, and potted meat. :lol:

 

Cleveland Oaks was one of the proposed names for the area when the store was built and there was a movement to get a post office.

 

The post office by Food Lion is called the Cleveland Oaks Post Office.

 

The area is called Cleveland School, always has been, always should be!

If you look at the map, Cleveland Oaks is not the only neighborhood mentioned (it is also labled right where that neighboorhood is). There is also Waverly Point and Lassiter Farms. Further up by 70, is Riverbirch Townhomes. I think it's a combo of neighborhoods, crossroads, and townships - Flowers and McGees Crossroads are also listed. Not a conspiracy to rename the area. lol

 

Whats wrong with Chef Boyardee and potted meat?
