I know we have discussed this before, but the search buttons won't work. I need to see an Eye Doctor in the 40/42 area. Can you all guide me in the right direction as to who you like? Thanks!

My niece uses the eye doctor in the little strip mall (maybe Ashley Turner PLaza) on hwy 42. I have no clue the name of it. I took hubby's sunglasses there 3 times (you would think he would learn that our little guy loves to chew on them) and each time they were wonderful, fixed them while I waited, and never cost me over $7! I will go there when it is time for my check up.

Thanks! I know there are several to choose from up there. I think I'm going to have to break down and actually WEAR glasses.

I recently developed a serious eye issue and had to go into Raleigh (Rex Hospital area) to see a specialist. You can certainly get an eye exam and glasses in the 40/42 area, but anything more serious will require a trip.

    Good Luck!

I went up to Oasis Eye Care. The sign said they took walk-ins. The wait to be seen was about 10 min. The place is really clean, bright and nicely decorated. Nothing like the old video store. The Doctor was super nice and very informative. They filed my insurance for me too. I hope my High School typing class paid off because I can't see clearly yet. :)

I see the brother of Oasis Eye (they have one in Dunn, too)-his is Triangle Eye by Crabtree. They are very nice and referred me when I needed more help.

I saw a woman Doctor. Her name was Rachelle Davis. I'll send my Family to her when they need to go.

We go to the place in the Ashley Turner plaza too- same little strip as Riccobene dentist. They're great! It's Dr. Byrd and Associates. If you wear contacts- you can't beat their 20/20 plan. They file with insurance, have competitive prices, easy to get appointments- and we love the convenience of having them close by.

you join it for a year at a time for a fee (have to look at my paperwork to see the exact price) but for that year you get lots of perks such as free solution, free replacement contacts, free pair of frames, etc.
