holy crap, this smoke is from all the beach fires, geez the air is so thick with smoke and a rubber smell that i thought it was from in my own neighborhood!!!! ugh..
The smoke and the heat make a horrible combination! I'm glad I didn't have anything planned for outside today. :ack:
Does anyone know what it is like at the coast (Topsail)? I was planning a quick trip soon, but I don't want to go if it is code red or purple...or even orange. TIA
They had photos from the beach today on WRAL. Beautiful. No smoke. Wind was from east to west. That is why we have the smoke. Beaches will depend on which way the wind is blowing.
