 Always had a "soft spot" for the Shuttle launches. My parents took us as kids to see the Challenger launch on it's first trip. An unforgettable experience to be sure. I'm sorry I was never able to take my son to see it.

Luckily I caught the launch at my neighbor's house.

Never able to see an actual launch, but remember being stationed at the Pentagon in 83/84 and watching the shuttle piggyback on a 747 flying low and slow around DC in a promotional flight.

    Cool visual.

Oh, that would have been spiffy to see! Always wanted to see a shuttle launch live in person, it was on my 'to do someday' list. Guess I'll have to erase that one. I did see as many as I could televised live, at least. Was in awe, each time.
