CenturyLink DSL Connection Problem

    In the last two weeks it is taking longer and longer for us to connect with the internet. Today it was nearly 15 minutes from the time we turned the modem on until we could get on the net. Prior to that it would only be a couple of minutes. Is anyone else have connection problems?

    I had issues when things were getting set up. One thing I will say. I was with TW and if you had to call them it sucked to get customer service like you think you should get.

    With the problems we had we were able to get up with Century Link with in a minute I was talking to a person that spoke fluent English.

    When my bill came I called and talked to a account care specialist and we adjusted my bill for connection interruption....

    I say all that to say. Call them they will make it right.

    They are suppose to check to make sure you are getting what you are paying for as far as speeds. They did that for me too.

    Thanks. Good to know about CenturyLink's customer service. I will give them a call. I had the same problem with TW's customer service.

    This is kind of like taking a car to the mechanic, it runs fine there. This morning it was less than 4 minutes to connect. Could have been less, I walked out of the room and when I came back it was up.
