I was living in South Florida when Andrew hit. I didn't think much of it till it actually came ashore. And I was in Raleigh when Fran hit. I do not think it will be much out here by us but I think it will be back out by the coast. Really the only thing I would like to see come from Irene is to clear out the garbage (oops I mean homeless people) out along 40/42 and 40/210.

 

Was suppose to be working in Connecticut Monday through Wednesday, ain't gonna happen!

 

I was in CT last week. It was so beautiful!

I was in lowes foods on 42/50 when it started coming down. As I went home I was coming up Corwallis and went over 40. It was bumper to bumper heading west.

So, it's 11 pm on Friday night. I hear a little wind out there. Anyone else got any updates as to how it's going with the weather? It sounds like our area may get passed over (or is that just wishful thinking?)

Nah, came in from White Plains, NY via Atlanta. Actually all the planes were on time!

TSA said they were shutting down the White Plains Airport tommrow.
