Here's another link from the UK with a local news station video. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2029688/Navy-SEAL-Jon-Tumilsons-dog-sits-coffin-funeral.html
A beautiful man and his beautiful dog and we get to see them now because of his beautiful sacrafice. Easily one of the most touching things I will probably ever see in my life.
I saw the video last night, and I just had to hug my dog, who looked at me like I was a crazed woman. I think it depends on the circumstance. In regards to pets at funerals. If I died before my little Corgi, I would hope she would be there! Although she most likely would NOT be well behaved, and barking at every little noise.
WHen my daddy passed away, the funeral home told us we could bring his best friend, a furry baby, with us to the funeral home. We chose not to because we were afraid all of the people would freak the little guy out.
