ugh, wish him luck!! everyone here is on pins and needles, some have started cleaning up their desks already

 

we lost 4 on our hall in July and more are coming between now and October ....

I just keep on chuggin' along and know it will be what it will be.

 

It's the not knowing that kills you. They took his department (easiest way to explain it on here) from 50 something to 13 last year. There is no more fat to cut!!!

 

we lost a few in June and we will lose these in Dec. then July of next year..

I work like always and hope for the best..

They just sent a vaguely worded email on Friday................it could be taken any number of ways. They may just be re-assigning accounts here or sending them to India. Who knows. :?

I really feel bad for y'all. I just came out of two years unemployment. Glad to be back in the work force, but hate to hear someone else is potentially a target of corporate "right-sizing".

I'm guessing it's a good sign his new boss just asked him what his vacation schedule is for the rest of the year? Trying not to read too much into it, LOL.

For the record, unless they participated in the conception, most folks do not want to see U/S pics on FB. I do not need to see the contents of your uterus until it's swaddled in a blanket and a diaper. Esp the 3-D ones. I thought my OWN kid looked like an alien. :mrgreen:

 

I disagree. Granted, I don't care to see some stranger's "first pic", but if a friend wants to brag (and most new Mommy's do), I'm more than happy to check out an ultrasound (especially the 3d cgi) of the new little one(s).
