Flippin' heck ... I can't believe this month has completely slipped by me. Stephanie, Kaci, do y'all have a stop date for donations? I found 'end of August' ... above ...

 

That's totally up to Stephanie, i'll accept them here as long as she needs me to.

 

I might have to wait until the end of the day to be able to make that call and see what Irene looks like and if they still want me to work 1/2 day tomorrow or not.

Oh my Kaci, I'm horrible. Sorry for not getting back. Is there anyway I can pick up items today, Friday, the 23rd? If so, let me know what a good time for you would be. Been a very hectic last two weeks and I apologize for leaving you hanging. For anyone else interested, we still can collect donations. Though I do believe we're set on the crayons & pencils. Outdoor toys such as frisbees, sandbox toys, & jumpropes would be awesome. I just picked up a bunch at Food Lion that had them 75% off. Best time to buy. Ended up being .74 a piece. Thanks a ton to all who donated. It truly makes a life changing difference. When you see them picking out of a big black garbage bag, broken pieces to play with, it's hard. I know we can make a tremendous difference in the life of hundreds of these children. Thanks again and Kaci, let me know about today if you're on the boards. Have a wonderful weekend.
