    Let my weekend begin! Why, YES, I think we'll begin with dinner and a few beers at CDH. Ooh.. and then to Wilmington on Saturday for the Lighthouse Beer Festival with my beloved! :mrgreen:

    My grandson (3 yo) has a fever and has been coughing and talking with a raspy throat.

    We had a great time at the fair today! I tried a red velvet funnel cake with cream cheese icing. It was delicious!

    Gonna go home and make my very first Margarita cake for our weekly pot luck lunch tomorrow next door at the pharmacy. It is Mexican theme week & i got dessert, guess i will have to sample the margaritas while i am baking:cheers:

    I've made a few before, and if it's like the recipe I have (a bundt cake) .. the cake part is 'ok' .. but the glaze is yummy!! (the alcohol doesn't cook out of the glaze ... make extra!! *GRIN*) I made a few modifications to the recipe, but I don't remember what ... it's been a few years. It used to be a tradition to make it New Years Eve.

    probably the same recipe, i got it on Allrecipes and i am making a few alterations too, one of these days i will actually follow a recipe by the letter, well maybe one day:lol:
