I did not pretend to be concerned that this may be my doctor, or I was looking for a doctor, or my granny had a doctor just like this.... nope..... not meeeee.....
Maybe I am just lucky I am saddened to hear about your experience with your doctor. I would have given his name . People need to know about people like this. I am lucky to have a great heart specialist, Dr. Ben Atkeson. He is wonderful, beyond that , he is someone I have come to love and respect because I know how professional and compassionate he is. I also get the same kind, considerate and professional service at Clayton Medical. The saved my life once when I had an attack on their office. Thank God we have more good ones that bad ones. I owe my life to God, and my fine medical teams.
There must be two Dr. Harris' there because the one I see is the opposite when it comes to feeling rushed. He runs in, asks a couple questions while tapping on his puter then runs out. I feel like I have three minutes to get the exam done and ask any questions before he is only a memory.
Wonderful physician. He was so well liked by the families at Fort Bragg. yes, he was a soldier, and is one of the finest physicians I've ever known. (and a a former drug rep, I had the chance to evaluate most physicians in the Wake-JoCo area.)
For OP. If you have high bp, I would go to a cardiologist. I too have high bp and Dr. Friedman would never behave that way for sure. He always makes me feel at ease, office staff is fantastic and have never questioned me needing more meds or such. Always, always assures if I have a question to ask it. Never been belittled and always left w/ great info. In addition, he truly knows his stuff. Good luck. stephanie-- mom to 10
