I am SO excited!! My Mom upgraded her Jenome embroidery sewing machine and brought me her old one!! I can't WAIT to figure out how to use it. :hurray::hurray::hurray:

I loved being my sisters guinea pig for massages while she was in school (except for when she was finding pressure points - those were owieees). Alot of my moms friends were also her guinea pigs, she got some great tips even though she was doing massages for free.

Up north massages are much more expensive than down here, my sister gets about $100/hr now. $130 for 90 minutes, plus tips. It tickles me that they are so much less expensive down here!!

 

I've never had one and prob never will. :jester:

 

Me either sister.. If somebody catches us rubbing our backs up against a post one day when we're old and decrepit we'll beat them with our canes

It's a quirk of mine, I don't like being touched by strangers. I don't even much care for manicures and pedicures in that regard. Yes, I'm weird, but there you go. :lol: I think it would be even weirder to get a massage by someone I know. A friend of mine got her massage therapist license earlier this year and had offered the same deal. Thanks, but no thanks!! :jester:

 

It was so awesome this weekend in VA, got to spend time with one of my best friends who has been my best friend since we started kindergarden together when we were 5yo and that was a LOT of years ago. Got to meet her new dil and we had the best time sharing stories from our lives together over a couple glasses of wine:cheers: See there are some perks to getting older:lol:
