Where are you?

It's pretty obvious that the 4042.com community extends well beyond (...in some cases, well beyond...) shouting distance of the I40/NC42 intersection.

I'm curious as to the geographic distribution of our community, so I thought I'd throw out a very general poll.

Naturally, I don't wish to know anyone's home address, or to provoke any conflict.

I am about 3 miles from 40/42. 2 miles west, 1 mile south. there abouts.

 

East of I 40 but North of US 70
West of I 40
East of I 40 but South of US 70

Wait, How can I be East or West of a highway that travels East to West?

I live down near the South end of Barber Mill road, so in Cartesian terms, (X=5 mi., Y= -2 mi.) from 40/42.

In this case, I choose to define East/ West (generally speaking...) as I 40 passes through the 40/42 area.

I live over on the dawg park side of town.

3 miles due East of 40/42

 

Currently Houston but within a few weeks it will be east of Fayetteville.

 

Used to live on Cleveland Road...now in Two Oaks, a stump, and half dead tree.
