I had no idea there was a zoo in Coats! They are bringing some animals up to the Food Lion on 210 to help raise money for needy kids. I think it is worth it to give them a buck or two and check out the cool animals they are bringing. They will be there between 1- 3 pm.
The Zoo is called Noah's Landing. Has anyone ever been there or know anything else about them? I checked out their web site and it sounds pretty cool. They will even bring animals to you for birthdays and such. I am sure they are a LOT smaller then Asheville but might be a fun way to spend an afternoon. You can touch the animals too....well some of them anyway.

My kids have been on field trips but I didn't get a chance to go either time. They love it! Glad you brought it up, it's right down the road from us and something we need to get out and enjoy.

Didn't they use to be up on Barber Mill Road? Up on the right side as you were heading towards Clayton.

Yes, and they are/were very Christian oriented. That's a great thing, except they didn't let schools know that when field trips were booked. Teachers and parents were very shocked.

The zoo in Coats is awesome! They did a Halloween thing last year, and had kids go around and trick or treat at the different exhibits, etc.

Wonderful spot for a family day trip!

    A zoo in Coats?

I picture it having two cats, a pit bull and a squirrel.

Well dang, small world... I like how ya'll growed tomater plants out of that old toilet beside the driveway. Beats the heck out of a topsy turvy.

Ok, I'm probably going to regret this but I have to ask.

    What is a topsy turvy?
