I loved watching New Years Rock N' Eve just to see how D1ck Clark was getting along after his stroke. It will never be the same without him.

I'm so glad that Ryan Seacrest shared the stage with D. Clark up until this past year on New Year's Rocking Eve. I think it showed how much he and all of us admired and respected him. Clark was able to do the countdown one last time. Sad to see him gone. :cry:

So sad indeed. I watched American Bandstand every Saturday for as long as I can remember.

And I love Ryan Seacrest. He reminds me so much of D ick in his younger years, so charismatic and handsome. I expect Ryan will follow in his footsteps. He is a natural.

 

I'm not a huge Ryan Seacrest fan, but from what I understood, Ryan and **** were friends and liked working together. **** was Ryan's idol. Ryan always spoke highly of ****. Ryan isn't exactly a "wanna be" either. He's extremely successful at what he does.

 

The one that bothered me was the passing of Levon Helm.
