We bought a Weber back in 1998 and still have it and use it. GREAT grill!

Come to think of it,we used to have a Weber charcoal grill and it lasted for quite some time!

Actually for the last 14 years I have been using a Weber charcoal grill that uses propane to start the coals.

Call it a hybrid if you want, you don't get that taste of lighter fluid.

Ditto. Have replaced the regulator an installed Man Grates and it should last another15 years. Charcoal or gas----Weber is worth the money.

AnnetteL, check out ALDI'S in Fuquay, they have one , looks like a char-boil
grill with burner on the side
    $149 + taxes , might be worth a trip,

This help will cost you 1 sugar free cookie(large ),

Like anything, you get what you pay for

While we did spend $500 on Weber Genesis Grill, it is 6 years old and I operates like the day we bought it. Weber does have a lower end Spirit model that you can purchase for about $300. Spending $200 does not always equate to spending $200 if you have to replace burners, grates, etc. three years after you buy it. Often you have to just buy another grill because all the parts cost as much as the grill when its all said and done.

We found that out too, replacing some of the parts on our old grill would indeed not be worth the cost of doing so.
