iPad screen replacement

I have an original iPad and the screen has developed a black and gray bar across it. Has anyone had their screen replaced on their iPad or other Apple device or a smarthphone? I am looking for a good place to take my iPad to have the screen replaced.

 

My BFF had to replace her iPad screen andshe took it to the Apple store in Crabtree. The cost was close to the price of a new one. I would be lost without my iPad .

 

i would of sold it broken and bought a new one.

 

There is a place called CPR in Raleigh & replacing screens is basically what they do.
