Wendy's - Clayton

Per Clayton New-Star the new Clayton location will be the largest Wendy's on the East Coast.

and what is the thinking behind that?

 

So they are adding 1125 square feet to the existing site but only adding 13 additional seats

That's not much smaller than my house and I could put more than 13 seats in my house. Sounds like a major waste to me.

Exactly - never understood how Wendy's couldn't do good business right there in front of Wal-Mart. The one they've just bulldozed was sorry, poor service, low sanitation grade at times - good riddance to it. My wife refused to eat there and she loves Wendy's.

 

If you aske me, it was because they never put enough sugar in their Sweet Tea.

 

only 2 places I'll drink thw sweet tea and that is McD's and SCNB.


As for the reason it actually closed from what I was told is that with the new bypass being open their business really dropped off.
