SO what you get called to check on a loose pit bull. You didn't even get out of the dang truck! Those people have at least five. They let them breed randomly, the pups die or are killed my the mother dogs. The get off their chains and kill the weaker dogs... and other animals. The owners brag about the dogs being from good fighter stock. You say to "get a picture" of the loose dog the next time it gets out...yeah I will do that. The next time a pit bull is running after me I will tell him to stop for a photo op. What kind of stupidity is this? Do your job, you wimp.:twisted:
they have said if anyone messes with their dogs or gets them taken away, they will shoot them....the people not the dogs. THese are drug addicted butt heads that need to go. anyone have a sheriff that wants to listen to the story, send them my way. THese people are BAD news.
Call the news -WRAL channel and report You will get better reponse if you call Monica ( 5 on your side), WRAL and tell her what you have reported with animal control.
They won't do jack crap because they're pansies. That's why they need big mean dogs. Document everything. Get a video camera with a good zoom. Every time a dog gets loose, video it from a window inside your home. Tell Animal Control that you know the county ordinances and if they aren't willing to uphold them, you're going over their head to the county manager, the county attorney, and the commissioners.
Taking pictures does work; I have done this several times in our neighborhood, resulting in a few people being fined repeatedly by the Animal control. Each subsequent fine increases in amount. Be warned, though, it is highly doubtful that you will remain anonymous. I am known as that B#@$&neighbor and have been confronted. I was persistent and stood my ground, and now there are no loose packs of dogs here, and pets are contained safely on their owners' properties. Now it is safe to take pets for leashed walks, without roaming animals approaching and attacking us. And I have noticed that our neighbors once again jog and take their walks. So I believe it was worth it. :cheers:
i am just so disgusted with the owners. THey are sickening. These dogs could have been loveable but these people have ruined these animals. It is so sad. I will take pictures...that is a good idea! Thanks. It was Johnston county. They drove by a talked to the one guy and left. Never got out of the truck.
I know how you feel; we even begged the owner of one of these dogs to let us find his dog a home, or even to take him to get fixed for the guy. He was offended that I suggested this because he was not having his dog become less of a man. He asked us if he should just take his dog to get put down because our getting him fined was costing them so much (which is why we offered to take the dog). They had an invisible fence installed, but didn't bother to use it, then moved away. I was sad to hear from other neighbors that their dog was found by a pond (somewhere near Josephine Road), dead. Not sure the cause, talk is that he was either poisoned or hit by a car and not found right away. This broke my heart, as we tried our best to protect this dog. Some people just should not be pet owners...:cry:
these people are low lifes and everyone in the area is afrai of them. The sheriffs department wont do anything unless charges are pressed but everyone is scared to.
Correct Answer: No, you got your own self fined by not following the laws. Don't punish the dog for your inability to look after him. Be responsible or give the dog to someone who is... ...you whiney little mama's boy.
