Anyone else having problems with centurylink? When I tried to access my email, Kaspersky detected phishing and won't allow me access? tried going to their website to see if there were problems reported there, and it won't load that either?

In Kaspersky create a centrlized exeption. Are you going to a URL or using Outlook to access email?

    go to a command prompt

    type C:\ipconfig /flushdns

    then

    c:\ipconfig /release

    then

    c:\ipconfig /renew

    for a start.

Put your computer on a higher shelf then try. [IMG]

Seriously, though, on the "Command Prompt", right click and select "Run as administrator"

it doesn't give me that option....and I am the administrator anyway...:?:

Just because you are the administrator doesn't mean you always run in administrator mode.

When you go to your command prompt, do you click a short cut for it, or do you select the shortcut "Run" and then type "cmd"?

You need to do it this way:

"Command Prompt" will be under "Accessories" in your start menu.

Try putting a space between ipconfig and /flushdns

Well, I'm sorry I can't help you with that. I was only helping you release/renew your IP.

Have you tried talking (via phone) with a support person?

not yet - I was hoping the steps from SS would take care of it.
But thanks to all of y'all for the help, I really do appreciate it!
