Apartment suggestions for Raleigh

My rent was 490.00 a month... wonder how much it is now?

 

Prob around 700 for 1 bdrm - that seems to be the going rate for these complexes built in the 80's. Most of the ones we looked at have been refurbished and have updated interiors - but of course, you pay more for those!

 

We looked at 5 places last week - most run $700-800+ - but the thing is almost all of them have bad reviews when you look them up. Granted, most people will post a review when they're uphappy vs happy with a place, but I hate to see her get locked in a 1 yr lease and end up hating it - and I realize there's no 'perfect' place, but we would like something safe and bug free!
Since there is currently a shortage of apts in this area - that drives up the rent too. Once place I called said their prices can change day-to-day based on the comps...:banghead: Most places we looked at didn't even have vacancies - but she doesn't need it till Aug, so, still looking!
