strawberry festival

Has outgrown this area. Can't even park at the grocery store.

 

They should work with the GCAA to hold it on their property.

 

That would be great, but there is not as much parkning as you would think up there. Go by on a weeknight they have baseball/softball/soccer all going on at the same time.

 

West Johnston High School has more space and parking than GCAA does.

 

I avoid the entire 42 area on Festival days. It has become a traffic nightmare. I'm not sure who ever thought that was an ideal spot in the first place. All those businesses getting cut off for most of a day? Makes no sense.

 

Is there ever a good traffic day at 40/42?

 

OR the Cleveland High School, they have PLENTY of space, and can set vendors up around the Track

 

or C3...they have tons of space...

They'd have to shut the streets down to hold the 5K Strawberry run for Haiti!!! LOL

 

Time to incorporate,build community parks, infrastructure and so on!!!

 

Amen. Johnston County one of the fastest growing counties int he last decade does not have a parks and recreation department.
