This afternoon I heard gun shots with in my development. It sounded like it was coming from across the street from me, maybe even in the woods between my street (River Oak Drive) and the main entrance(Sommerset Dr). My neighbor behind me even called me cause she had heard it. It was between 3:30 and 4:00. Anyone else in south Plantation hear it?

Well how close the gun 'pop' was almost any of them could of hit a house in my neighborhood, it could of hit my office window and hit me. I know this is Johnston county but firing a weapon in a neighborhood is never a good thing.

If these are things you are concerned with then might be best to move in the city.

    Sound echo's in the country.....

And during those hours it is legal in JoCo to shoot.

Don't know, it is a possibility. I know and have seen my neighbor behind me actually do that before. It's just odd to hear it from the front of my home.

wouldn't worry about it, like others said, it's Johnston Co. plus with the scarcity of ammo as of late I don't think many people would be wasting it shooting at nothing.

If you don't like living in the country, move to Cary. In JoCo it is perfectly legal to shoot on your own property during daylight hours.
