I believe you will find the copies are expensive for many cars. That was the point of the rant.

In some vehicles, the transponder key and the fob are an all-in-one unit. This adds to the price of the key and makes it more difficult to get a spare anywhere but at the dealership.

We checked the price of a basic transponder key on a late-model Ford F-150. The dealership quoted $160 for the key and an additional $75 for the fob. If you go to a locksmith, expect to pay roughly $20-$30 less.

He wouldn't know that. He probably doesn't bother himself with the menial matters of getting a spare key or a personal cost that is usually covered by bogus corporate tax deductions.

It's the typical wealth bought legislated corporate theft he loves so much. Over the barrel pricing that he will never see or have to pay. And instead of admitting the truth of unsubstantiated product pricing while recording record profits as an integral part of this inflation, he hits his diversionary propaganda sound bites: "It's all the Governments fault!" & "You're stupid and ignorant of economics."

Somewhere in his linage there is the inventor of the teletype. We see his type coming from a mile away.

Have you tried Ace Hardware on 50/42 corner? They can do some cars and trucks, with the transponders. Might be comparable in price and would likely save you some gas to get all the way to Crabtree
