What is Registry Data?

    My computer messing up, and when I do antivirus, it comes up something like Hijack.Shell.32 or something in the Registry Data. Then I remove and quarintine threats. Question, What is the Registry Data Because i have to quarintine this viurs like everyday!!!! Help :)

    Holy Crow, I couldn't even understand that but what I do know is that I am in trouble, lol........ Thank You for posting lgb0250.

    Registry data is the information the operating system (Windows, OS X, Linux etc) needs to operate.

    Be very, very careful when messing with it. You can easily break the system causing you to rebuild the OS from scratch (and lose everything you've saved in the process).

    Always create restore points, which you should have been doing anyway.
