    Man Charged With Killing Dog

    A Johnston County man was arrested Wednesday on animal cruelty charges.

    Ryan Juron Foxx, 25, of Streamwood Way, Clayton is accused by Johnston County deputies of shooting his fiancés dog, a 6 year-old Yorkshire Terrier, during an alleged domestic incident reported December 22. The dog later died from his injuries at a Wake County animal hospital.

    Foxx was given a $10,000 bond on the felony charge.
