Shelter Information Smithfield, NC – At this time arrangements have been made for citizens with pets seeking shelter at Smithfield-Selma Senior High School to have those pets sheltered in a designated area at the Johnston County Animal Services Department. Animal Services staff will provide transportation for the pet from Smithfield-Selma Senior High School to the Animal Services shelter upon their arrival. The Animal Services shelter is located within one mile of Smithfield-Selma Senior High School. It is recommended that pet owners bring crates, etc. and food for pets particularly those on a special diet.
