Speaking of West Cary, I know they are putting a Franks Cinebowl over there too. It would be nice if one of those came to 42.

We had heard that there would be one near the Murhpy gas on 42. Hope this doesn't mean there will be two of them so close. We need diversity.
It was under contract. Sheetz was waiting on zoing approval, once the zoning was approved, then the sale would be final. I guess Sheetz closed on the lot. It will be out to bid in around a month, then 3 months constrcution. should open Early February.
I'd like to see a Home Depot somewhere around here. In some ways we prefer it over Lowes and it would be nice to have one closer than down in Garner off Hwy 70.
^ and a Target and movie theater would be nice too imo. I don't mind going out to White Oak but have one or both a little closer to me would be great.
I can't find the link but before 2005 that was the plan for the land behind Golden corral, right across from Lowes. And the area around the hospital on 42 has a plan for shops. theaters, restaurants, etc. just a matter of time. Or maybe it's all changed with Sheetz opening up every few miles along 42, ugh.
