You might ask me the same question, I would prefer living in the city, now I have to deal with Bears and Beavers. In my case elderly in-laws is the main driver.
I get that, but seems strange to move to a rural area then complain about the lack of your preferred grocery store. It's not like it was a surprise or anything when you got here. :mrgreen:
Well out here in the hinterland we grows and kills our own! :jester: I do love the fig, pear, apple, and hopefully one day the peach trees!
Cary has some of the same problems. Beavers in drainage issues and bears wandering through. There was even a bear that stopped traffic at Southpoint Mall a couple of years ago.

Nor anything else that impacts traffic or their current way of life. A version of NIMBY where they want development to stop once they have a house with a "private" park owned by someone else as a buffer. The same type of opposition was seen when The Streets at Southpoint was proposed.
