If you would untie the dog it would go home. Do you people take kids home when you see them walking in the subdivision without their parents? Leave the damn animals alone and they will go home!

 

and that's the thanks someone gets for making sure a dog doesn't get hit by a car.... nice....

 

Don't take it personally, he/she acts that way all the time. I appreciate what you do.

I know I won't let a beautiful, loving dog off a leash to wonder around and possibly get hurt. They want the dog they can come get her with a leash or car to take her home.

Female black great Dane with white on chest. Her name is Cali. She got out of our back yard. She is about 1 1/2 yrs. old. Please call. She is friendly

Great job OP, I usually would ask them when they come by if they fixed whatever caused her to get out in the first place.

I see way too many dogs running free unsupervised in my area, sad, I feel like the black ones are especially at risk of getting hit by a car at night since it hard to see them

I've confronted at least one of my neighbors about their dog coming by my house a lot (which to be honest I don't mind since she is a sweet dog and just wants to play with my pups). He told me that I must be upset with the dog coming by since I was complaining to him, and I should shoot at his dog or go out and kick her until she went back home. :banghead: People are horrible sometimes. Instead, I just give her water and food since all she wants is some attention. I told him I would gladly find a loving home for the dog if he couldn't care for her. I have yet to hear back.

 

what an idiot! I have had 3 dogs come into my yard, it took a lot of research but I found the owners. It was MUCH better than seeing them dead on the road because I did nothing!!

Thank you for taking in this beautiful dog until the owners can be located!

 

Cali is home with her humans. Such a sweet dog and very loved. They were very thankful and missed her.
