Need some pine Straw. Pine Straw Express's number has been disconnected. Can someone recommend a company for delivery of good quality pine straw (average price per bale is a plus). Thanks (PS. Before you ask, I'm 9 months pregnant and due this week so getting it myself is not an option. I have someone to install it. It's my own form of nesting.).

Ogburn's Landscape had the same price and delivery as Lee's Jones Farm Supply in Benson, NC/McGee's Crossroads is delivering to 27529 (we are exactly 10 miles apart) for $30 and is $4.00 per bale. We are getting 60 bales. 919-894-4730

We got pinestraw from the man on 42 last week. It was $3.80 per bale and it was packed so tight that each bale expanded probably 5 times its size. We did not need nearly as much as we got because of how far each bale spread. I have no idea what he charges to deliver--he loaded our pickup for us

Ouch. Why do I have all these steep hills that need straw? I called Jones Farm Supply. Long Needle is more this year. $4.50 a bale but they will deliver to me for $20. I'm going to try to get by with 50 bales this year. Sure wish I could figure out a way to easily put mulch on a long steep hill
Plant native ground covers that outcompete and choke out the weeds and be done with pine straw forever! And it's cheaper!
