JOCO mom upset over missing sign commemorating her son

    Should never have been put up like it was. Emotions thinking instead of brains. A memorial is great, but not dedicating the field. I could name you several tragic deaths of kids that played ball on those fields over the past 50+ years. Memorial yes. Field dedication sign, no.

    Not to be mean, but the guy was breaking the law by riding a dirt bike on a public highway, even if he was just crossing the street.

    I sure hope that neither of you ever lose a child. That's part of what's wrong with this country, there's no empathy for anyone. People screw up everyday especially kids but I guess they deserve to die for that.

    Don't be an idiot. How do you know I haven't lost a child? Empathy does not encompass naming a public community ball field after the deceased. I clearly stated a memorial would be great. I saw a childhood friend get killed on a bicycle right there at the fields when we were playing little league. Death is never good with any child.
