Just a matter of time before L''s, the G's, the B's and the T's each want there own bathroom. Where does it stop? And what about the long lines. This is what happened to the fast food industry. Each restaurant wants to try and please each customer, thus putting so much on the menu it takes forever to get what you want. There will be so many people trying to get in the stall that is perfect for them, we will all just have to hold it in till we explode.

I guess I am confused as to why it needs to be a law? I've never questioned the gender of someone in a public restroom. I.don't.care. I'm there to do my business and get out. Women's rooms generally have stalls, so I am frankly quite confused as to how viewing anyone's bits comes into play in the first place? And most men's rooms also have stalls...........so how would you even know unless you are way not minding your own business? What are you (general you) people doing in the bathroom at Walmart to make this an issue? Maybe I donwanna know. Then again......I guess some pervert is going to decide to dress like the opposite gender to try and get a peek. But a peek at what? Shoes under the door? Someone please enlighten me as to why we need to waste time and resources on this issue?

They don't want "there [sic] own" bathrooms... that's the whole point. The transgender population simply wants to use the bathroom that that they identify with; a Transgender Woman should be able to use the Woman's room.

Let's all just move to a communal bathroom and everyone shares. Who needs privacy anyway?

Everybody wants to be equal so lets just put a hole in the floor as Europeans do and make all restrooms unisex , pay as you go.

My biggest issue is not which bathroom a transgender person uses. My biggest issue is that by passing a law that says anyone can use either, you're giving freaks and pedophiles free and legal reign to use the bathroom as a hunting ground.

There is absolutely no reason that any adult with a penis should be in the ladies room while my prepubescent daughter is in there.

There are unisex/family bathrooms available at the mall. This can be your solution. Anyone can use them, men, women, families, transgenders, whoever.

Not that I don't agree with you completely, but what about all the businesses that don't have those bathrooms? Does the government make them all build them at every location? Does every restaurant, office building, public facility need to build a 3rd bathroom for those that are unwelcomed or uncomfortable using the mens or womens room?

No Jesse, I don't think so. Aren't there some businesses that you don't support because you either don't like the way they do business or you had a bad experience? I think this falls in the same category. If private owned businesses want to provide an alternative, then goody for them. If there are establishments that don't, then folks have a choice; either follow their rules while patronizing their business, or find an alternative place to spend your money.
