Was passing through Cleveland School Road today beyond the Cleveland Emporium, and saw a new sign at the front of a little white house with a barn, that said "Hawg Farm BBQ". This is the same place that looked to have music and BBQ there last year, but I thought it might have been some kind of private, family party. Anybody know if it's a business open to the general public?
Okay, just checked their website. It looks like a biker's BBQ, and black leather might be a sartorial prerequisite. Counts me out.......
The property is zoned AR - AR: Agricultural and Residential. This includes houses, churches, etc. With a special use permit, uses can include kennels, day cares, community centers, etc. I'm not sure they are actually a business though, it seems like BBQ Brothers is just catering a bunch of bikers hanging out. That's probably how they get away with it. I could have a bunch of friends over every Friday night and have some catering company bring food. And then charge my friends for the food. I don't think that qualifies as a business.
I sure feel safer around most bikers than I do some other people, and the Title of the Thread really throws one for a loop. Sherry
Just a bunch of good ol' boys doing a fund raiser for a good cause. Don't know the exact organization, but it has to do with pediatric brain tumors. No commercial venture, just some good folks trying to help others!!!
Here's a link to some info on the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. I believe I am correct in stating that the Bar-B-Que Bros. RC raised over $15,000 this year for this great cause. http://www.curethekids.org/about-us...ferrer=https://www.facebook.com/#.Vyv6F_krLIU
