The new subdivision that's going in on Cornwallis, near the 40 overpass, near Old Drug Store Rd....
I passed the sign once, and don't go that way often.
But did I see it said it was going to be a golfing community?
    TIA

Sirputz, that's one of my subdivisions. There is not going to be a golf course there. It is only 48 lots total.

OK. I didn't think it was big enough area for one. And I didn't see the sign well as it was getting dark
    Thanks

Who's gonna do the dirt testing?

Do you mean the soils testing for septic systems?

Probably no one. JoCo is pretty loose on their requirements compared to wake county. Most development in the county plans grading to allow the foundation to bear on native soil rather than fill. Fill dirt requires soils compaction testing as do dams. I cant recall testing requirements for utility backfill.

Any soil removed, filled, etc. are tested for compaction with any of our homes. We do not do slab foundations and therefor are not required to test virgin soil nor is there a need when building properly.

We try to test every other lift on utilities and dams, Every lift on foundation/lot fill, retaining walls, etc. We also perform concrete testing, asphalt cores and stone sampling, as well as other engineering disciplines.

So, you aren't placing any fill, just cutting to natural ground and going with it? That takes a lot of planning to get slopes and drainage right
