Maybe someone who is a North Carolina native might know. Why is there no 7/11 convenience stores here in North Carolina. I have wondered that since I moved here in '96. TIA
There are not as many as some other places but there are several in NC. I have seen them in the Charlotte area and on the coast around Nags Head and Manteo recently. A couple looked fairly new though so it may be expansion into NC now.
There are plenty in NC, just none around the Triangle. Tough competition around here between Sheetz and many other places.
I may be misremembering my childhood, but I feel like there were a lot of 7-11's around in the late 70s and early 80s, and then they pulled out of the area.
