Unfortunately, this hits a little close to home. A friend was notified of a person at her front door by her doorbell camera. She opened her app to see a Fed-Ex driver putting a package at her front door and masturbating to the camera. She, of course, called the police and Fed-Ex, but it seems there is a loophole in the NC exposure statute that does not make it illegal to expose oneself to a camera ...just a person so the driver was not charged with a crime. I expect that he was fired as the recorded video was available for his supervisors and corporate HQ, as well as the police. The statutes do not keep up with technology and they are not changed until enough problems are made evident.

 

Did an audit of a client and they reported a truck driver for peeing on their property. The transportation company insisted that could not be true, they company asked where they should send the video! The secret to living now days is to not do anything that you don't want sent to everyone.

 

This is a serious concern that has me worried for our future as humans.
