I'd Love for the bank to be a Coastal Federal Credit Union. Since they opened and closed two branches in our area over the years
Wawa is already posting for jobs at their new store. They don't seem to know their address, though. They listed "25 E Malibu Dr", which is the Biscuitville address.
Leasing/Sales - Atlantic Retail Atlantic retail is not the contact for the Publix shopping center anymore. That complex is not listed anymore on their website.
last i looked they still had a few spaces either side of Publix. I've been looking to see who new agent is. there was another 1 before Atlantic.
Also buried in those plans is that outparcel 3 is going to be Heartland Clinic. If I'm searching for the same Heartland Clinic, they typically serve rural and underserved communities, and are currently just in Illinois, Kansas, and Nebraska.
So further down in the Starbucks plans, IN THE SAME DOCUMENT, in a different section, it correctly lists outparcel 1 as Chase Bank, but then it lists outparcel 3 as McDonalds. Right after having just listed it as Heartland Clinic. So, who the hell knows...
I thought there was going to be a proposed WakeMed location in the main complex in which case I would believe a McDonalds over an additional clinic in outparcel 3. The location of that outparcel (corner lot) makes sense for some type of fast food joint also.
Providence Realty had it before Atlantic. Some google search's for "Middle Creek Crossings for lease" and i can't find anything.
I agree, McDonald's makes more sense there. I wish there were something more likeable there, but I admit it makes sense. I figure Heartland Clinic was probably leftover from some other Starbucks site plans elsewhere in the country. But how much of that could possibly be copy/paste? It seems like each one is pretty custom.
I went to their website and they posted on April 20 an ad for servers at that location. It looks nearly complete, so hiring and training must be happening soon.
Everything looks complete, they have all the furniture and lights on and working, landscaping is done. I've also seen postings for the past few weeks for positions. I have to imagine training is underway already. Seems weeks away from opening at most.
The address for the Publix is 16100 NC Hwy 50 Garner, NC 27529 Bldg. permit # is 204904. Looks like only all the final inspections are needed. Mechanical, plumbing, electrcial and building. Site obviously has some time to go. I have been trying to find out how the address work for the smaller spaces on left and right, to look up if permits pulled for those. I may have to drive up there and see.
JoCo GIS shows the following addresses at that lot: 16090 NC HWY 50 N 16094 NC HWY 50 N 16100 NC HWY 50 N 16110 NC HWY 50 N 16114 NC HWY 50 N 16118 NC HWY 50 N 16122 NC HWY 50 N 16126 NC HWY 50 N There are some permits associated with some of those addresses, but I don't know how to make sense of the permits. Most of them are for "Catfish Real Estate". Edit: If you zoom in far enough on GIS, it shows the address points. Which don't line up with any building and make no sense. Go figure.
Anyone got any info on what's happening at the corner of Cleveland Road and Cornwallis Road? They've started clearing the lot where people often have 'yard sales'. I had called the planning board about few years ago and they said a convenience store (it was either a Kangaroo or Circle K, definitely not Sheetz) was already approved, but that may have been 3, 4, 5 years. The owner is an LLC out of Mount Olive owned by E. Judson Pope.
