would be great, but site seems too small for a current version Chick Fil A with all the drive thrus etc.
I also am suspicious of a Chick-Fil-A claim (mainly because of 20+ years of being teased with rumors of one, with every site being developed). But, most Chick-Fil-A sites are 1.5 acres. There's definitely enough room here. Not quite enough room for a Six Flags, though.
Chick-fil-A typically requires 1 to 2 acres of land to build a standard restaurant, which usually features a 4,000–5,000 square foot building, ample parking, and double drive-thru lanes. The average lot size for their locations is about 1.63 acres, focusing on high-visibility areas with significant daily traffic. The one in Flowers was 2.7 acres when they bought it. Assuming they subdivide off either the blue box or the yellow box, that would be 1.7-1.9 acres roughly for the blue or 2.3-2.9 acres for the yellow
Part of the yellow box is under contract with Rip Tide. I am the listing agent for the blue box and red. The word I got, it would be going on the other side of the rode, beside WhatABurger, not the draft house side.
I thought the original question was talking about the lot next to Whataburger (117 Inspiration dr). That's the lot I said was or seemed too small for chick fila . Yes, the lots you highlighted seem to be big enough. edited to add... (I did what I hate on next-door, didn't read all the comments before I commented. you all got it figured out.
I thought we were talking about the 15 acre lot off Old Drug Store Rd for Chick-Fil-A. Much confusion! I may have contributed to it by talking about new developments on both sides of the road at the same time. I would love to have a Chick-Fil-A here, but it's hard to not feel like Charlie Brown kicking the football and Lucy pulling it away again. Please let us know what other developments you hear. The other 6 of us would appreciate it!
